Opening Times

The surgery is open 8.00am – 6.00pm, Monday – Friday (except for Bank Holidays).

Please note: we are closed between 1pm – 2pm, every Tuesday for staff training. A mobile telephone number is available for patients who cannot wait until the practice opens.

We are also open 6.30pm – 8.00pm, Tuesday for patients with  appointments. Please note these appointments are pre bookable and not released on the day. Booking in advance is recommended. The practice is not open for collection of prescriptions, reports etc during this time.

Patients with early morning and evening appointments will need to use the buzzer system next to the front door to gain entry.

Telephone Access During Practice Opening Times

The main practice telephone number (0191) 2665246 is available 8.00am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday (except for Bank Holidays).

Please note that between 1.00pm – 2.00pm calls are answered with a telephone answer machine message. A mobile telephone number will be given for patients to use for calls which cannot wait until the practice reopens at 2.00pm.

Patients with evening appointments (6.30pm – 8.00pm, Tuesday) who need to contact the practice should ring 07484 283998.

Telephone Access When the Practice is Closed

From 6.00pm – 8.00am every weekday and 6.00pm Friday to 8.00am Monday calls are answered with a telephone answer machine message. Patients who need urgent medical assistance outside of normal surgery opening hours will be directed to call 111.
